[✨VINTAGE CAFE✨] Located at the foot of Mt Faber, Old Habits is a retro-style cafe serving interesting fusion dishes. Decorated with vintage items including vinyl records, typewriters, and many more! ☎️

These vintage decorations are also available for sale, so you can bring these back home as a keepsake of the good old times 🎟

Coated with sesame, the top selling item is hard to find elsewhere. The sesame crust acted as a good contrast to the juicy and soft texture of the tuna steak. We chose fries and salad as sides to go along with this! 🐟

Overall, this spot is a unique space with value-for-money options and mains starting from only $9.90 💸 Staff was friendly and the vintage cafe is condusive for work/study too.

Attention all fans of South Union Park and Eleven Strands: a new concept restaurant has arrived! If you’ve been digging the grub from either of these restaurants then you’d be pleased to know that the same folks have a new restaurant called Mia. Much like its counterparts, Mia serves delicious mains such as the Seafood Risotto ($28) that comes loaded with a plethora of fresh seafood ingredients—we’re talking prawns, clams, squid, baby scallops, and green shelled mussels, all doused in tomato sauce with a sprinkle of parmesan and a dash of parsley.

The pasta was very tasty and the portions were generous. Especially liked the pairing with white wine sauce. Makes for a nice hearty dinner. Coupled with Burpple Beyond makes for good value as well.

Cacio e Pepe is a simple yet popular pasta in Italy. However, few restaurants in Singapore serves it as it’s just pepper and cheese and may not be appealing to some here

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of Cacio e Pepe at Lino. The malfade was al dente, cooked to perfection. The sauce was delicious as well, though some may find it “jerlat” if you are not used to taking a lot of cheese.

It’s reasonably priced at $16 and would recommend it!

Pint & Dine is a one-of-a-kind culinary establishment with a menu that’s very much inspired by the idea of simple and honest cooking. Their K-Chick Waffle ($18) which consists of the classic fried chicken and waffles combination with an added side of kimchi and onion rings is exemplary of that. Take a bite and you’ll know what we mean!

Tried the pan-seared salmon ($16.90) with spaghetti tossed in spicy belachan chilli paste, aglio olio style 🍝 We opted for less spicy but we could already start to feel the burn. Definitely for the spicy lovers!🔥

If you are visiting on weekdays, you can also try their affordable set lunch (main + drink) starting from $11 😎

We're Back! Ordered our fav burger dish, along with chic pie and tea for sharing. With the new burpple discount of 30% of total bill, this cost us about $20 for two pax 💕 cafe didn't had much people so the server guy served us our food instead of self-collection ➕

i picked Tracy’s Favourite Salad ($20) mainly because it had the longest line of ingredients HAHAHA but i loved that there’s kale (my fav salad base for greens) and the sesame avo, hummus and pumpkin seed dukkah yumzzz

Went to Five Oars at East Coast for brunch today & ordered the Salmon Royale ($24++) & a 6oz white ($5++). I must say that I was particularly surprised at how delicious the Salmon Royale tasted - the addition of sour pickled onions complemented the salmon, the crème fraîche’s consistency was light and just right, and to top it off, I liked how the multigrain bread had some nuts, which added texture to the dish. The avocado and scrambled eggs were decent, nothing fantastic. A suggestion I have is to replace the current veggie with rocket leaves, as I think it would add another layer of flavour to the dish. The coffee was alright too, not the best I’ve tasted.

Great cozy Italian restaurant with amazing ambience. The pasta was cooked al dente, but the flavours could be better.

Fettuccine was super salty, clams for vongole were not fresh.
