Tucked away in Far East Plaza, this restaurant concept offers signature dishes from 8 different restaurants across Japan (including omurice, hamburg steak, unagi don and gyukatsu).

Tried the hakata-style black curry rice with fried wagyu katsu. Deep fried till golden-brown, the katsu is crispy on the outside, while still juicy on the inside. The unique black curry features a mix of pork, chicken broth and secret spice combination! ๐โจ
This has a mild smoky taste and is a popular item among the diners. For those who don't take beef, you can also choose to enjoy the black curry with pork loin, chicken or carbonara.

Another item that we tried is the beef burger. Said to be the juiciest and softest wagyu beef hamburg steak, the kuroge beef burger is created by Chef Fukuyoshi who won the European Mondo Selection award and was voted as one of Japan's 50 top chefs! Served alongside wedges and onion rings, you can also get your hands dirty with their build-your-own-burger option ๐ฏ๐ต
If you're visiting for lunch/early dinner, try their set meal and ramen options (from 11am-6pm). Also available on major food delivery platforms.
Got this with 1-for-1 deal on burpple so it's quite worth ๐๐ธ

Very worth 1 for 1 deal!
Had the Kurobeko (Black Angus Prime Rib Eye Steak Katsu). Considering itโs 1 for 1, itโs quite value for money. But to be honest, I probably wouldnโt pay the full price for the meal. Not sure if it was the part of the meat we got, but some parts of it were tender whole other parts were a tad bit chewy. Overall still flavourful and the negishio sauce was great! Portions were huge too. Definitely more than enough for a regular guy as my partner was more than satisfied after the meal.
Rating: 6.5 / 10
*lobster and chirozo was unavailable and substituted with fresh oysters*
Finally tried one of the more $$$ deals as a teen in singapore. The place should consider giving a bread basket of some sort as all their bread items were out of this world ๐ฎโ๐จ. Overall, the food and ambience were great, presentations wonderful, tho it felt more like a 4-course meal as the portion sizes for the first 2 dishes were way too small like 1 cheese bread and 1 oyster only per person cant satisfy me :((
Cheese bread 5โญ๏ธ: Totally can understand the hype. So good and addictive. Confirm a calorie bomb given the strong cheese taste and the amount of butter I spread per bite
Oysters 4โญ๏ธ: Really fresh but nothing special
Beef Tartare 3.5โญ๏ธ: The bread was really nice. Wished more bread was given as the beef got a little jelat over time eating it alone.
Scallops 4โญ๏ธ: Fresh and well seared. The taste of the butter sauce could be stronger.
Wagyu Beef Petite 3โญ๏ธ: A little tough; the sauce and the mushrooms had little taste. Could not detect the truffle at all but the addition of brioche bits was interesting and nice.
Hamachi 4โญ๏ธ: Simple and light asian-influenced dish. Fish was well cooked and had a nice texture but clams felt a little out of place.
Apple Mille Feuille 5โญ๏ธ: My favourite dishโค๏ธโค๏ธ Super crispy pastry and interesting smoked calvados ice cream flavour with a slightly complementary salty taste to balance the apple filling which had the right amount of sweetness.
The servers were really friendly and attentive and a mini cake was prepared for my friend's bday. Although sometimes I felt a little pressured to spend more: the usual still/sparkling water question and we were asked quite a few times if we wanted any additional appetizers, drinks and desserts.
Managed to stick to only $148++. Worth it treat once in a while :D
Risoni broth goes perfect with the fresh sea bass. Appreciate the asparagus in the broth which adds a nice crunch to the dish.
Brown sugar fans unite as the Okinawa drink blends your classic cappuccino with the all time favourite dark brown sugar, creating a smooth full brew thatโll make your sweet tooth satisfied!
The Manuka coffee has that all familiar tinge of New Zealand honey sweetness on top of the fragrant aroma of the coffee. I thought this was a great pairing as well, made me feel healthy too :P
Really worth it with the Burpple 1-for-1. I wish the coffees came in proper mugs instead of these disposable ones, especially since we were having them at the cafe itself. But I guess the concept might be one of a takeaway stand.
There are both indoor and outdoor seating, although rather limited if you want to be seated inside.
The service was great - the barista was so badass, she was single-handedly running the show on a busy weekend, we were very impressed.
As a mala xiao la person, this is not even xiao la. The intestines is very tender and soft, no weird funky smell. Portion is huge. The noodles is not that springy as what I expected. The tomato soup is thick and tasty, not that salty. We got 2 side dishes, pork stomach and cucumber bean curd. I especially love the cucumber as its surprisingly refreshing with the nut sauce. It would be even better if it is cold. The downside is that before the 1-1 it really is expensive, the shopโs seats are kinda limited. If you are sitting on the counter table, there are wireless charger built in (not all are working).
For someone that eats mala xiao la, this is definitely a Zhong la for me. Imo, I find that this is a refreshing and tasty bowl of noodle to have on a hot day. The soup is thick, no fishy smell, sour and smooth to drink. Portion is huge too. The side dishes especially the cucumber is surprisingly refreshing. It would be even better if it is cold. The downside is that before the 1-1 it really is expensive, the shopโs seats are kinda limited. If you are sitting on the counter table, there are wireless charger built in (not all are working).
$22. Love the crispy chunky potatoes! The sauce together with the chicken and veg have a nice pairing.
Pan-seared organic chicken breast, cashew milk, mozzarella cheese, lime juice, broccoli, haricot fine beans, baby spinach, mixed herbs, dukkah, almonds, crispy potato chunks
$18. Itโs amazing!!! Love the crunchy with the dips! Best fusion! Took a pic of the back part of the dish so that the 3 dips can be seen.
Beetroot hummus, baba ganoush, traditional hummus, olive oil, kalamata olives, dukkah, almonds, balsamic glaze, spring onions, house-made flatbread, corn chips
