Have been here several times and have always been happy with the taste of the food (the curry is spicier than in Japan but that’s to be expected). Apart from yakitori, there’s a good selection of donburi and side dishes.

The restaurant is always crowded but it’s easy to get a seat, especially if you come alone. This place is also popular with Japanese people, a good sign that the food is authentic (:

For healthy eats, this is something which I found to be tasty yet healthy!

Slow dripping cold water through freshly ground coffee. Hand roasted beans to perfection. A strong and bold roast. Smooth, chilled and refreshing upon every sip.

Layer of creamy coconut milk on top of passionfruit sprinkled with coconut flakes. A rather normal, creamy and light citrusy bright cake. To eat this, one got to wait for 5 min for it to defrost. Hmm... Okay.

OMG! I love this Japanese style pudding. So wobbly and the smooth custard literally melts in your mouth. Balanced in egginess, milkiness and sweetness. The flowy caramel sauce goes well with it. Felt that there is a hint of ginger added to the sauce.πŸ€”

Hidden among shophouses, if one were to not go slow on their track, they might just missed this cosy little rather new cafe with natural sunlight film vibe. The entrance is just a classic glass door that was not so obvious.πŸ€”
Though it had multiple sign telling you it is the place, one will still doubt if they are at the correct location as the door briefly mention film/coffee.🧐
Open the door, walked up the super steep staircase(Yes, please be careful) and welcome yourself to chill at @sundaymorning_sundaymorning for some bites and a nice cup of cold drip coffee.😍

Shoyu Ramen (RM15)
Broth is thin, but flavourful, like a fusion of tonkotsu and shoyu bases. Noodles are slightly firm. Toppings include chashu, seaweed, one slice of Narutomaki, ajitsuke egg (whole not sliced), and Negi. This bowl is priced at RM15.

Pork Ramen (RM17)
Not overtly salty like Tokyo style ramen, this broth reminds me of Okinawa style ramen, wholesome and thick, emphasizing on the meaty earthy flavours, well balanced with the seafood umami of the tare.

Gyoza with spicy topping/crispy topping (RM11.99) The gyoza is flavorful. The difference is instead of the normal dip sauce, they are served with fish flakes, crispy crust and seaweed. πŸ“Έ & ✍🏻 By Burppler Joyce Teo

Soft shell crab plated onto this basket like bowl shaped container and served to us. Innovative presentation that pleases one’s eyes.

Pork Cheek Shabu Shabu set (RM35.90)
The soup base is fantastic with a good variety of choices. I tried the hot and spicy milk. It is very very spicy! Beware!
